Pembroke Corgi Rescue

                              Corgis Available

The dogs listed on these pages may or may not be available at this time.  This is a clearinghouse, and we are not always notified when a specific dog is placed. If you are interested in a particular dog, please contact the person or club whose name is listed with that dog.
You may also wish to contact several of these sources in your area.  You will need to fill out an application for each one.  Sometimes no dogs are available, sometimes there are several at each site.  The dogs can change from day to day, so it is best to contact the rescuers listed in your area, so they will have your application on file. This way they can try to find the dog that will match your needs and the corgi's needs.

We are currently working on a Universal Application that you may submit back to this site and it will be forwarded to workers in your area.  Please check back from time to time to see how this project is going.

Please note that on the email addresses, you must cut and paste them on a message and change "at" to "@". This is to prevent spammers from using these addresses.

Even though you don't see a corgi here, please visit the Finding A Local Rescue page, and contact some of the rescuers there.  You will have to fill out an application for a dog and it's helpful to get this process going sooner rather than later!

Allie is 11 years old. She has never missed a meal in her life, as a matter of fact, she may have had some extra meals. This red and white girl needed to lose 20 lbs.  She has been on a veggie/meat diet since she came here and has lost all but about 3 or 4 lbs that she still needs to lose.  She is healthy, and she has been good about being with other dogs and cats.  She comes when called and would like nothing better than someone to begin walking short distances with to help her maintain her waistline.  Allie has been here since August, 2008 and has lost most of the weight she needs to lose, she is much thinner than the above photo.
Her shots are up to date, she is spayed and her teeth were cleaned this past January.  She now frisks around the yard and is much more active when she first came here.
She would be ideal for an older person or someone not quite as active, however, her weight will need to be watched.  I do believe she would benefit from a nice walk every day, to build and tighten her muscles.
These older dogs are always a pleasure to foster and to find new homes for!
